After a breakfast at the harbour café the two SS34s started the return to Chichester via Gosport where both boats arrived in the afternoon. Onboard Nik-Nak were the ashes of Terry Sprake, but it was still quite windy and not a good day for the scattering.

Tuesday 13 June 2017

We woke up to a glorious day, bright sunshine and very little wind, a perfect day for scattering of the ashes from Nik-Nak, a SS34 like the boat Terry Sprake had sailed, and to make the combination perfect, a photo recording of the “ceremony” was made from the other SS34, Morning Sky.

It was an honour to perform this service and reminded Kerry and me of a special man and the person who brought the S&S Association into our lives.
